First time lalu dekat sebelah surau di Seri Iskandar ternampak satu gambar kucing seakan-akan Garfield, saya ingat ni iklan berbentuk Gerilla. Rupanya ini adalah projek khas oleh pelajar Landscape Architecture Design di bawah LADS UiTM Perak.
Projek ini sangat-sangat menarik kerana ianya adalah konsep rumah kucing atau rumah makan untuk kucing yang terbiar. Projek ini dinamakan Kitty’s Home Project.
Kitty’s Home Project menyediakan rumah-rumah kucing untuk memudahkan orang ramai memberi kucing terbiar atau kucing jalanan makan.
Rekabentuk setiap rumah kucing adalah berbeza-beza. Terdapat 11 set kesemuanya.
Jika anda hendak pusing-pusing melihat rekaan rumah kucing oleh pelajar UiTM Perak ini, anda di jemput lihat sendiri di 11 lokasi berikut :
- 1 di surau pintu blkg uitm,
- 1 di hujung baris Bob Corner,
- 1 di bus stop Nasi Lemak Padang,
- 1 di Padang “shortcut” pintu blkg uitm,
- 1 di Padang Permainan Pasar Malam Isnin,
- 1 di Rahmat, 1 di Dataran SIDEC dekat dgn K-Mart,
- 1 di depan 7eleven SIDEC lama,
- 1 di Klinik Kesihatan dekat dgn post office
- 1 di Uptown (dpn bank islam uitm)
- 1 di dekat dgn D kerabu dgn surau,kat area BSN

This is our project LADS UiTM (Perak) aimed to build public cat’s house /feeding points so people can feed stray cats around our neighborhood. LADS stands for Landscape Architecture Design Students which is a student society under Landscape Architecture Department, Faculty of Architecture, Planning and Surveying, UiTM (Perak). Please note that this project’s objective is not to provide 24hours daycare for the stray cats but more as a centralised feeding point for the public to give food and water (sedekah) to the stray cats or even clean the cat’s house. Community’s awareness and cooperation is much needed to ensure we live happily with Allah’s creatures that share this world with us. Kitty’s Home Project is managed by Landscape Architecture Design Students (LADS) UiTM (Perak)
